For managing your company and corporate risk registers, heat maps, compliance and controls. Symbiant gives you a holistic view of how your risks link to other compliance issues such as incidents and controls. Symbiant is a total Enterprise Risk Management Solution.

Symbiant is a Risk, Audit and compliance management tool, designed to allow organisations to collaborate and pool information. It’s a flexible tool that allows for total customisation to meet your exact requirements.

All Views and reports can be easily modified, to meet your exact needs.
Views can also be set for specific user roles and divisions.

This is a collective view, The type of view you would get, when you first go to the risk register module.

Here you can see all your risks.

You can set permissions so users can only see, what they are allowed to see. Such as risks in the same division as the user, or risks that they own.

The graphs and charts let you see relevant information at a glance. you can click on the charts to filter the data.

You will also notice that all the charts respond to your filtering, which allows you to add further cumulative filters to the views

You can customise views and give different people alternative views of the same form, based on the users division or role.
This feature is particularly useful, when adding new risks.

You can make the forms as simple as required for that particular user.
You can also provide your own explanation text and help tips, to guide your users to the information they need to add.

This is a detailed item view. To make managing the risk easier relevant sections are tabbed.

If you have the controls module you can assign controls to the relevant risks and link them to the risk scoring, you can then use the Self Assessment option to test the controls on a regular basis. If a control fails it will automatically adjust the risks residual score.

The risks are scored using drop downs that are initially set to the industry standard. However, you can use your own qualitative and quantitative methods. Which means the risk scoring fits to your existing methods and terminology, the reporting and heat maps can also be customised.

If required, a risk score can be an aggregate of other risks in the registers. So it becomes the average score of a group of similar risks.

Risks can be linked together to show a relationship.

The relationship chart will then show you how the risk is connected to other items in Symbiant, such as incidents and controls.

Linking risks in a parent child hierarchy lets you visualise the full cascade effect of a risk failure so you can see the real potential impact the risk has on your business.

The reviews and actions tab, log review information and allow for the creation of action plans which can be assigned to specific users with an action due date. Automated email notices, notify the users of the assignment and the sending of any reminders, should the action not be completed by the due date.

If you have the incident module you can link incidents to risks. This allows the risk owners and managers, to see any potential issues or patterns emerging.

The discussion section allows users to discuss the risk and make observations that should be shared.

If you wish to provide your users with guidance, you can edit the pre made guidance tabs, or create your own. If any tab is not required it is easily removed.

 

PART 2
You can customise the user views to be as simple, or as comprehensive as required and because different user roles can have alternative views, You can present your users with meaningful, user friendly forms, using familiar terminology and methods, to make using the system, intuitive.

Symbiant also comes with a complete and comprehensive reporting suite. You can modify any of the standard office reports or create your own.

You can apply filters, so you have full control over the data that will be reported on.

Because Symbiant is a fully time aware system, you can report on changes made since a specific date, or on how something was at a previous date.
