Symbiant Tracker has allowed us to record progress against recommendations and produce status reports in an extremely efficient and effective manner. Implementing and configuring the system was straight forward and positive feedback has been received from business users who have found the system to be extremely easy and intuitive to use when updating status for their recommendations. As testament to the effectiveness of the system it is also being used by other departments in the company to track actions, including Compliance for any actions arising from their compliance monitoring programme. Whilst the benefits will apply irrespective of the size of the audit team, for a small internal audit department selection of a recommendations tracking system that required minimal resource to set up, maintain and produce reports was essential and choosing Symbiant Tracker has proved to be a sound decision

Audit working papers, audit planning tool for internal audit.

The working papers module is designed to help manage and plan your audits. It also gives you a central repository to store information, and everything that is relevant to the audit.

The module pulls data from, the risk registers, controls, incidents, questionnaires, and the audit universe

to explain how this works, lets first look at the Audit Universe.

This is where you list the things you audit, such as assets, and entities.

All of the details that are relevant to the entity are captured. If required, you can add a risk score.

You can then link the risks that are relevant to the asset.
PART 2
Then when you create an audit report, you select the relevant audit entity.

When you link the audit report to a working paper, the entity details are pulled in.

Any risks that are linked to the entity are automatically imported, including their current risk score.

Any controls linked to the risks are also attached to the paper.

and any incidents, that have been connected to the those risks.

You can view the details of any of these linked items, by clicking on them. They can also be included in any of the working paper reports.

Because the system automatically collects the relevant data that connects to the audit entity, it saves the auditors time and helps in the planning process.

For your tests you can create assessments in the questionnaires module and attach them to the paper. These can also be included in the report outputs and show, pass and fail levels.

You can attach external documents and files these attachments, can be for reference and if required, printed in the report outputs.

The working papers module, helps to organise your audits by automatically pulling together related information. This means work done by the risk department, doesn’t need to be reproduced or sought after. this saves time for everyone and helps you to become more efficient.

Because the solution is cloud based, you can collaborate with a team, and easily share details and reports as required.
